Skiers ski one day a week, Saturday, with trained Silver Run coaches dedicated to this group. While exploring the mountain, athletes build skills following the US Ski and Snowboard Alpine Training System matrix. Skiers will have fun in the occasional racecourse and free skiing to develop skills to become lifetime skiers. Skiers will learn and perform directed drills from their coach, and Group sizes never exceed eight athletes per coach. Participants need to be able to ride the chair unsupervised, get in and out of their equipment on their own and have basic stopping and turning skills. Must be able to ski green runs confidently.

Training times are 9 am to 3 pm with a 45-minute unsupervised lunch. The program begins on January 4 and ends on April 5. Participants will need ski equipment, helmets, and a season pass (not included). For ages 7 to 14, the price is $900 for the season (there is an early bird discount available till Oct. 20) and includes entry to 2 club races held at Red Lodge Mtn. and pre-season dry land conditioning in both Red Lodge and Billings.
