Silver Run Combo Programs
More Ways to Ski. More Ways to Grow.
Why choose just one way to enjoy winter?
Silver Run Combo Programs give young athletes the opportunity to participate in more than one skiing or snowboarding discipline — building a broader range of skills, spending more time on snow, and discovering what they love most.
From Nordic and Devo to Alpine Racing, Freeride, and Snowboarding, Combo lets athletes experience different parts of Silver Run while remaining part of one ski community.
Choose Your Combo
Nordic + Devo
Build a strong skiing foundation by combining Nordic technique and endurance with Devo's all-mountain Alpine skill development.
Nordic + Alpine
Combine the endurance and technique of Nordic skiing with the precision, speed, and technical development of Alpine Racing.
Nordic + Freeride
Build Nordic fitness and technique while developing the big mountain, park, and freestyle skills of Freeride.
Nordic + Snowboard
Experience winter in two very different ways while developing balance, coordination, fitness, and confidence on snow.
Youth Ski League + Freeride
Develop technical Alpine racing skills in YSL while building versatility, creativity, and confidence across big mountain and freestyle terrain.
Youth Ski League + Snowboard
Combine Alpine race development with snowboarding for athletes who want to build skills and have fun across two disciplines.
Program eligibility and placement may depend on athlete age, ability, and coach approval.
Different Disciplines Build Better Skiers
Each Silver Run discipline challenges an athlete in a different way.
Nordic builds endurance, coordination, balance, and efficient movement.
Alpine Racing develops precision, technical skiing, speed, and confidence under pressure.
Freeride builds adaptability, creativity, terrain awareness, and confidence across the mountain.
Snowboarding develops balance, body awareness, and an entirely different way of moving across snow.
Put those experiences together and athletes have the opportunity to become stronger, more versatile, and more confident on the mountain.
More Than Cross-Training
Combo also gives kids something that's just as important as skill development: more ways to enjoy winter.
Athletes get to ski with different teammates, learn from different coaches, explore different parts of the mountain, challenge themselves in new ways, and become part of the broader Silver Run community.
The goal isn't to specialize as quickly as possible. It's to help young athletes develop the skills, confidence, friendships, and love of skiing that can keep them on snow for a lifetime.
Find the Right Combination
Not sure which Combo makes sense for your athlete? Start with the programs they're eligible for and what they're excited to explore.
Silver Run coaches can help families determine the best combination based on age, ability, interests, schedule, and readiness.
More time on snow. More ways to grow. One Silver Run community.
