In Memory of Brad Funston

Former Vice President, Silver Run Ski Club

Silver Run remembers Brad Funston with deep gratitude for the time, energy, and heart he gave to our club and community.

Brad joined the Silver Run board in 2023 and served as Vice President, bringing his experience, thoughtful leadership, and genuine love of skiing to the organization. He was also a dedicated member of our Masters team and a familiar and valued part of the Silver Run community.

Brad grew up in Butte, attended Montana Tech on a basketball scholarship, and spent 31 years as a Registered Professional Engineer with Marathon Oil Company before retiring. An avid water and snow skier, he embraced an active life and loved his time in the mountains.

We are grateful for Brad’s friendship, leadership, and commitment to Silver Run. His contributions helped make our club stronger, and we are honored to have had him as part of the Silver Run family.
